Each year the Crossroads Co-production Forum selects projects in development aiming to support fiction films which have a link to the Mediterranean regions and Southeastern Europe by introducing them to a network of financiers, co-producers and leading industry specialists from all over the world, during a 4-day event in Thessaloniki.
What are the main selection criteria?
> Projects should be feature-length fiction films in development (over 60 minutes) from (or set in) the Mediterranean or the Southeastern European countries.
> Projects should be either produced or co-produced by a country within these regions or contain elements in the story that link them to these regions.
> Projects should have a producer and a director attached and could be in all stages of development.
>The budget of the film should not exceed 3 million euro.
> Projects can present both arthouse and mainstream appeal targeting various audiences with strong festival and audience potential.
> The selection committee will evaluate projects according to: their possibility of being realized, overall quality of the application and artistic/creative vision.

AGORA Series Talents returns featuring an annual open call for submission, following its pilot kick-off in 2025. This is a talent development and networking program tailored for both emerging and established screenwriters based in Greece and serves as a vibrant incubator for creative voices. It features hands-on workshops, masterclasses, personalized one on one feedback from acclaimed audiovisual professionals, and expert coaching on both personal and project presentation. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with industry leaders, exchange ideas, and present their work to top-tier guests at the end of the program.
What are the main selection criteria?
> Be based in Greece or professionally active in Greece
> Be actively writing or developing scripted series material
> Have participated in a scripted series project (creator, staff writer, dialogue writer etc.)OR Have verifiable writing experience on a scripted series (produced, optioned, commissioned, or funded development stage)
> Have an original scripted series project currently in development with written materials (not only an idea)
> Demonstrate a clear interest in developing skills in series writing and pitching for television formats
