DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: March 3 , 202 6 / Script Consultant Trainees
A unique training and networking platform for series talents – solo writers, teams of writers and producers, which implements a multi -stage project selection process in order to be able to supportmore projects.
From the applications, we will select approx. 15 -20 projects, of which their creative teams will receive a detailed online assessment from experienced professional script consultants .
Based on this assessment, 9 projects will be selected for Series Launch: Essentials 202 6 program.
The Series Launch: Essentials program consists of two residential workshops, series of online
consultations and a project showcase at international series festival Serial Killer in Brno .
The 9 selected series projects go through an intensive program that enables them to work closely on the script and project development . It also helps to integrate emerging series professionals into the marketplace by facilitating opportunities for them to gain experience in international collaboration and providing them with various networking opportunities.
As part of the new Series Launch: Essentials program, we are also introducing a new program, Script Consultancy Training for Series. It is designed for aspiring script consultants and focuses on hands -on training for three selected participants, who will d evelop the key skills and principles of script consultancy to support their future careers. The script consultant trainees are guided by both their trainee mentor who supervises their entire learning process, and Series Launch: Essentials group leaders , who help them understand the different approaches and strategies they use while developing series projects.
Through this process, the trainees get acquainted with the script and development aspects of
developing a series project, enhance their communication skills in the creative process and most importantly, learn how to give constructive feedback to the creative teams to help them move forward with their development.
The trainees attend special online preparation s eminar and also, all workshops and the project showcase along with the Series Launch: Essentials participants.
Series Launch: Essentials is accepting:
Projects
– solo writer or creative teams of writer and/or and producer (max. of 3 participants per team)
- global eligibility: this program is open globally, with a particular focus on European co -productions.
Script Consultant Trainees – script consultants, commissioning editors, producers, audiovisual funds evaluators/experts .

• Online Preparatory Seminar for Script Consultant Trainees / mid -June 202 6 (2 working
days)
• Workshop 1 / June 23 -30, 2026 /Prague, Czech Republic ( 6 working days)
• Online Consultations / July -September, 2026 / online
• Workshop 2 / end of September, 2026 (5 workshop days) / Brno, Czech Republic in
collaboration with Serial Killer – International Festival of TV and Web Series
Participation fee:
Online Feedback Session – 100 EUR per project
Writers , directors , producers, script consultant trainees – 1.400 EUR per participant (Workshops 1 -2,
possible to pay in installments)
