Works in Progress showcases promising projects currently in production or post-production and seeking sales agents or festival premieres.Projects will be presented from November 19 to 20, 2026 in Tallinn in the following sections:

• Just Film (children and youth film projects)

• Baltic Event Works in Progress (Baltic and Finnish projects)

• International Works in Progress

We are looking for full-length fiction or animation films, or live action animated films, meant for theatrical distribution with potential for the international market.

EMERGING PRODUCERS - JOIN THE BREAKING INTO THE INDUSTRY WORKSHOP

Breaking Into the Industry: Mentorship Programme for Aspiring Producers is a unique initiative tailored for Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event, guided by the distinguished industry veteran Katriel Schory.

The programme blends plenary sessions, one-on-one mentorship, and interactive industry events to cover various aspects of being a creative producer, from sourcing compelling stories to mastering the development process and refining leadership strategies.

The programme's core focus addresses the critical question every professional in the field faces: how to strategize, sustain, and scale up your company (and yourself) in a highly chaotic and constantly changing industry. Submissions are open until September 14 2026.

TALLINN INDUSTRY ACADEMY IS LOOKING FOR YOUNG PROFESSIONALS IN FILM CIRCULATION

Tallinn Industry Academy is an intensive training programme designed to train and support young film industry professionals working specifically in the area of independent film circulation, including online and traditional distribution, sales, film marketing, exhibition, promotion and festival programming, among others. The workshop serves as a gateway for a new generation of professionals entering the independent film industry, fostering their development, helping them better understand the industry's challenges, and expanding their networks.

Workshops are primarily suited for young professionals working with boutique markets, who are interested in improving their skills and expanding their network of contacts in the fields of sales, marketing, distribution, exhibition, and programming/curating. 

The workshop takes place in person from 15 to 20 November in Tallinn.
