Born in 1997, Savvas Constantinou is an award winning film director, writer and editor residing in Cyprus. He is the current vice president of the Cyprus Animation Association and head festival programmer for the Cyprus Comic Con film festival. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media & Digital Communication from the University of Nicosia. Post Production work for 3 TV series/shows, with additional motion graphics work for the nightly news for Sigma TV and over 150 TV Commercials spanning from local to even international brands like Vogue & Disney. His film festival directorial debut in 2020 with the award-winning documentary short “Font of Infamy” and another award-winning animated short in 2023 called "Hummings of a Hummingbird".
Γεννημένος το 1997, ο Σάββας Κωνσταντίνου είναι ένας βραβευμένος σκηνοθέτης, σεναριογράφος και μοντέρ. Αντιπρόεδρος του Κυπριακού Συνδέσμου Κινουμένων Σχεδίων (Cyprus Animation Association) και επικεφαλής προγραμματιστής του Cyprus Comic Con Film Festival. Πήρε το πτυχίο του στα Μέσα Μαζικής Ενημέρωσης και Ψηφιακής Επικοινωνίας (Film) από το University of Nicosia. Post Production εργασία για 3 τηλεοπτικές εκπομπές, με πρόσθετη εργασία σε motion graphics για τις νυχτερινές ειδήσεις του Sigma TV και πάνω από 150 τηλεοπτικές διαφημίσεις που εκτείνονται από τοπικές μέχρι και διεθνείς μάρκες όπως το Vogue & Disney. Το σκηνοθετικό του ντεμπούτο σε κινηματογραφικό φεστιβάλ το 2020 με το βραβευμένο ντοκιμαντέρ μικρού μήκους "Font of Infamy" και ένα άλλο βραβευμένο animation μικρού μήκους το 2023 με τίτλο "Hummings of a Hummingbird".
