Committed to the arts at a very young age in Limassol, Cyprus, where she grew up, Nefeli Soteriou played the mandolin and earned a terminal Master of Fine Arts in Film and Media Arts from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA and a BFA in Photography from Athens University of Applied Sciences, in Athens, Greece. Soteriou supports producing her own independent films in consistency since 1999, through her production company, Intent Pictures. Nefeli currently lives and works in NYC and visits Cyprus frequently.
Αφοσιωμένη στις τέχνες μεγαλώνοντας στη Λεμεσό, η Νεφέλη Σωτηρίου έπαιξε το μαντολίνο και πήρε το ανώτατο Master of Fine Arts στην Κινηματογραφική παραγωγή και Πολυμέσα από το Πανεπιστήμιο Temple της Φιλαδέλφειας, PA και το πτυχίο Φωτογραφίας από Πανεπιστήμιο Εφαρμοσμένων Επιστημών Αθηνών. Η Σωτηρίου παράγει ανεξάρτητες ταινίες από το 1999, μέσω της εταιρείας της Intent Pictures. Η Νεφέλη ζει και εργάζεται στη Νέα Υόρκη και επισκέπτεται συχνά την Κύπρο.
