Born in Limassol Cyprus, Myrsini is an award winning writer and director. She is currently receiving her MFA in Film Production at NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a TSOA Department Scholarship. In 2013 she completed her BFA in Film and History of Art, at Pratt Institute in New York as part of the President's List. Her latest works include the short film Semele (2015), a short documentary shot in Argentina Ma' (2014), the award winning short film Not Now (2013 (International Short Film Festival of Cyprus 2014 - Best Directing Award), and the short documentary Lost Hopes (2011). In May of 2009, Myrsini had her first photographic book publication and exhibition Mother India (edition Athens Voice), where all the proceedings from the sales, were donated to the MSF (Doctors without Borders). Photographs taken by the artist have been accepted and exhibited in Luxembourg at the F.I.A.P Youth International Contest, in Cyprus at the Pan Cyprian competition and in Andorra Spain International Photo Contest. During the summer of 2008 she followed a course in Fashion Design at the Nuova Academia di Belle Arti in Milan, Italy and for the period of the summer 2010 she attended an Acting for Film course at the New York Film Academy. In the summer of 2011 Myrsini worked as an Assistant Director to the TV series Secrets of Eden in Athens, Greece, and with the award winning stage, film and television director Mirra Bank (New York)
in the post-production of her latest documentary The Only Real Game, which has won Best Documentary at the New York Indian Film Festival.
Γεννήμενη στη Λεμεσό, Κύπρο, η Μυρσίνη είναι βραβευμένη συγγραφέας και σκηνοθέτης. Αυτή τη στιγμή ολοκληρώνει το μεταπτυχιακό της στην παραγωγή ταινιών με υποτροφία στο NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Το 2013 ολοκλήρωσε το BFA στον Κινηματογράφο και Ιστορία της Τέχνης, στο

Τα πιο πρόσφατα έργα της περιλαμβάνουν, η ταινία μικρού μήκους Σεμέλη (2015), η ταινία μικρού μήκους Patterns (2014), ένα ντοκιμαντέρ μικρού μήκους που γυρίστηκε στην Αργεντινή, Ma’ (2014), η βραβευμένη ταινία μικρού μήκους, Not Now (2013) (ISFFC 2014 - Best Directing Award – Βραβείο
Καλύτερης Σκηνοθεσίας) και το μικρού μήκους ντοκιμαντέρ Lost Hopes (2011). Τον Μάιο του 2009, η Μυρσίνη διεκπεραίωσε την πρώτη φωτογραφική της έκθεση και έκδοση βιβλίου «Mother India» (εκδόσεις Athens Voice), όπου όλα τα έσοδα από τις πωλήσεις, έχουν προσφερθεί στον οργανισμό MSF (Γιατροί χωρίς Σύνορα). Οι φωτογραφίες που ελήφθησαν από τον καλλιτέχνη έγιναν δεκτές και εκτέθηκαν στον Διεθνή
Διαγωνισμό Νέων της FIAP στο Λουξεμβούργο, στον Παν -κύπριο διαγωνισμό και στο Διεθνή Διαγωνισμό Φωτογραφίας στην Ανδόρα της Ισπανίας. Κατά τη διάρκεια του καλοκαιριού του 2008, παρακολούθησε εντατικό σεμινάριο, Fashion Design στο Nuova Academia di Belle Arti στο Μιλάνο, και για την περίοδο του καλοκαιριού του 2010 παρακολούθησε μαθήματα Ηθοποιίας στην Ακαδημία Κινηματογράφου της Νέας Υόρκης.
Το καλοκαίρι του 2011, η Μυρσίνη εργάστηκε ως βοηθός σκηνοθέτης στη τηλεοπτική σειρά “Τα μυστικά της Εδέμ” στην Αθήνα. Το φθινόπωρο του 2011, εργάστηκε με την βραβευμένη σε θέατρο, κινηματογράφο και τηλεόραση σκηνοθέτη Mirra Bank (New York) στο post-production του τελευταίου ντοκιμαντέρ της ‘The Only Real Game’, το οποίο κέρδισε το βραβείο Καλύτερου
Ντοκιμαντέρ στο NYIFF ( New York Indian Film Festival).
