Music Video and Film Director | Σκηνοθέτης Μουσικών Βίντεο και κινηματογράφου
Emilios was born and raised in Cyprus. From an early age his passion for films took over most of his time. He is a graduate of a Diploma in Audio Visual Communication (FIT) a BSc in Media Technology (Thames Valley University) and a Digital Compositing Certificate at Escape Studios in London. He took part in various workshops including Cartoon Masters in Bremen and VFX script to screen in Dublin. In 2007 he has worked in feature films in London as a compositor with talents like Ron Pearlman, John Malkovich, Simon Pegg and David Schwimmer.
Since 2008 he is based in Cyprus and has worked on many big productions in Film, TV Commercials and Music Videos as a Director, Editor and Visual Effects Artist. He has written, produced and directed 16 music videos that have screened in local and international tv channels. His first independent self funded short film Bad Habits(2016) has entered in 26 festivals around the world and won 8 awards including Best Film, Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Editing and Best Original Score. In 2018, United States company First Focus International took interest in the film and is now the official sales representative for Bad Habits.
Ο Αιμίλιος Αβραάμ γεννήθηκε και μεγάλωσε στην Κύπρο. Από μικρός τον ενδιέφερε ο κινηματογράφος. Είναι κάτοχος διπλώματος Audio Visual Communication( FIT ), πτυχίου BSc in Media Technology (Thames Valley University) και πιστοποιητικού Digital Compositing Certificate από τα Escape Studios του Λονδίνου. Έλαβε μέρος σε διάφορα εργαστήρια συμπεριλαμβανομένων και του Cartoon Masters στην Βρέμη και VFX Script to Screen στο Δουβλίνο. Το 2007 εργάστηκε σε ταινίες μεγάλου μήκους στα οπτικά εφέ με ονόματα όπως Ron Pearlman, John Malkovich, Simon Pegg and David Schwimmer.
Από το 2008 εργάζεται στην Κύπρο σε διάφορες μεγάλες παραγωγές για ταινίες, μουσικά βίντεο και διαφημίσεις σαν σκηνοθέτης, μοντέρ και στα οπτικά εφέ. Έχει γράψει και σκηνοθετήσει 16 μουσικά βίντεο τα οποία προβλήθηκαν από τοπικά και διεθνή κανάλια. Η πρώτη του ανεξάρτητη αυτοχρηματοδοτούμενη ταινία μικρού μήκους Bad Habits(2016) έχει προβληθεί σε 26 φεστιβάλ σε όλο τον κόσμο και έχει εισπράξει 8 βραβεία όπως Καλύτερη Ταινία, Καλύτερη Σκηνοθεσία, Καλύτερη Κινηματογραφία, Καλύτερο Μοντάζ και Καλύτερη Πρωτότυπη Μουσική. Το 2018 η Αμερικάνικη εταιρία First Focus International ενδιαφέρθηκε για την ταινία και είναι τώρα ο επίσημος αντιπρόσωπος πωλήσεων της ταινίας.
