Antria Nicolaou is a Director who had been recently living and working in Cyprus. She started her education in the field of Communication of Media & Culture at the University of Pantio, Athens. Continuing her studies she moved forward to a degree in Film studies in Los Angeles, US and then London, UK. She has worked as a Director in Cyprus, Greece and London. The past few years she has based herself in Cyprus, directing a variety of Music Videos, Social Issue videos covering topics of racism, immigration, and refugees. Adding to her portfolio she has also directed TV commercials and Corporate video commercials. Now she in the process of making a short-film. Antria Nicolaou, along with her Directing has also published a Poetry book by the name of “Apethantos Erotas” published by Pnoi Publishers. Her book is available in Greece and Cyprus
Η Άντρια Νικολάου είναι σκηνοθέτης και τα τελευταία χρόνια ζει και δραστηριοποιείται στη Κύπρο. Ξεκίνησε τις σπουδές της στο κλάδο Επικοινωνίας Μέσων και Πολιτισμού στο Πάντειο Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών και έπειτα συνέχισε με σπουδές πάνω στο κινηματογράφο σε Αμερική και Λονδίνο. Έχει εργαστεί σαν σκηνοθέτης σε Κύπρο, Ελλάδα και Λονδίνο. Τα τελευταία χρόνια ζεί μόνιμα στη Κύπρο. Σκηνοθετεί κυρίως music videos, βίντεο που αφορούν κοινωνικά ζητήματα όπως ο ρατσισμός, η μετανάστευση, οι πρόσφυγες, τηελεοπτικά διαφημιστικά και corporate video . Παράλληλα ετοιμάζει μια ταινία μηκρού μήκους. Πέραν της δράσης της ως σκηνοθέτης έχει εκδώσει την Ποιητική συλλογή "Απέθαντος Έρωτας" με τις εκδόσεις Πνοή που κυκλοφορεί σ' Ελλάδα και Κύπρο.
